Shipping
YattaJapan offers 3 shipping options for your orders. Time and prices depend on the recipient country, but you can get an estimation by going in your shopping cart!
Here are our 3 shipping methods with an estimated time :

Please note that :
- All the packages are sent with a tracking number provided in your confirmation of expedition email
- For Express shipping, the carrier will be determined depending on the recipient country and the order’s weight/volume
- The mentioned delivery times are indicative and are those announced by the carriers, so they may vary. In case of delay, we cannot be held responsible and no refund will be granted
We are doing our best to process orders within 48h during the week. A confirmation email is sent when the order has been shipped. Orders placed on Fridays and weekends will be shipped the next Monday or Tuesday.
72h have passed and you still haven’t received the shipping confirmation email?
Make sure to check your spams first, if it is not there, wait a few hours, the email can take some time to arrive. If after 72h you still haven’t received anything, send us a message via our contact form !
Tracking number
In your shipping confirmation email, you will also get a tracking number, thanks to which you will be able to track your order no matter what shipping method you chose!
If you chose Airmail delivery, the tracking number provided also works on your local postal service's website (USPS, CanadaPost, DeutschePost, RoyalMail...).
If the status of the package is "Retention", it means the package is available at the post office. Don't wait to pick it up, or it will be sent back to Japan!
Possible delays
The Japanese post closes during holidays and bank holidays, and these days are not necessarily the same in every countries! Which is why it is possible for an order to take a few more days to get to you, don’t worry!
Due to the pandemic, additional costs are to be expected on deliveries.
Custom charges
For all European orders, VAT is charged at checkout and you won't have any additional fees to pay once your parcel arrives!
For other countries, in rare conditions, VAT & custom charges may be required at the delivering stage of the parcel. We have no control over those fees which are the customer's responsibility. Please make sure to check all applicables import fees before buying as they will be your responsibility. No refunds or returns will be accepted if you refuse the parcel because it got taxed upon arrival.
